Peregrine Andrews (also known as Pez) spent 6 years in BBC Radio working as an engineer and studio manager before going freelance in 1996 and subsequently setting up his company Moving Air. He was in at the beginning of independent production and his contracts were with the BBC, other independents and also corporations. He has won multiple awards for the radio and TV shows and films that he’s mixed and sound designed. He’s also a producer in his own right and he explains why he is very picky about the ideas that he takes on to produce himself. It’s partly fear and partly that it’s so difficult and partly that he’s tremendously in demand and has very loyal clients.
